dcseainI just learned that someone on my flist has been denied a vote becuase they had no driver's license, but only a student ID, which is a valid ID according to State and Local law where they live. This has been confirmed with the board of elections in that county. I encourage you to GO BACK AND DEMAND YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE.
Print out the web page listing the valid IDs, and CALL the board of elections from the check-in table if needed to get it through their thick skulls. Yes, confrontation can be no fun, but dammit, you have a Constitutional right to cast a vote!

I'm planning on using my govt issued work id. as that is all that is required after the first time voting. My DW will have to show her drivers license.
