Company Store sent me an email, subj: Summer-weight comforters for cool nights. Where i live, and a huge swath of the continent from here to the south and west, if it's cool enough for a comforter in the summer, something is seriously wrong, unless you're up in the mountains.

Yes, i guessed that several people would have their houses cooled that way. Having grown up here without air conditioning, though, the concept of nature making it so at that time of year is rather foreign to me.

I'm warm blooded enough that I rather enjoy it. Although on hot August
nights I do alternate between sleeping under the blankets and on top of them.
