Yesterday in Philadelphia
May. 3rd, 2009 01:45 pmSo, Yestorday ,
tomhundleyrn and i went to Philadelphia, and met up with
nancylebov for the purpose of seeing a Bruce Pollock installation at the Fleisher-Ollman Gallery. We all recommend this exhibit, which is open through Saturday.
A most lovely lunch was had at Tria Café, which is near the gallery. They feature Wine, Beer, Cheese and some chocolate. quite lovely. We wandered around various parts of the city through the afternoon and early evening, then just before dusk we walked into Zahav Restaurant for dinner. Zahav features Israeli-style Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Zahav was a lovely experience, and do get reservations if you plan to dine there. We ate at the bar, overlooking the kitchen, which was very interesting.
Got home around 02:30, after a surprisingly traffic-free round trip for a Saturday. A very lovely day, indeed.
