A Long, Mixed, Night

leiacat, sincityopera, and selki better. After class was dinner at Ambrosia in Montrose Crossing shopping center in Rockville with leiacat and selki; selki kindly paid, as coincidentally, leiacat and i both left our wallets home today. Conveniently, i had enough cash on hand to pay for the ferry to get there in the first place.
I left work in Tysons Corner, and swung by my doctor's office in Ashburn to pick up a copy of my bloodwork to take to my infectious disease doctor, and since i was that far west, i took White's Ferry from Leesburg to the JCCGW in Rockville.
During class and dinner, i left my phone in the car.nancylebov rang and left a message - i'll ring her back tomorrow, and my roommate, benhill rang three times, which is the reason i checked my vmail while heading down the 270 Spur toward home.
benhill was in DC tonight for a first date, which seems to've gone reasonably well. They met in Dupont, at Teaism. He'd parked in the 1200 block of S St NW. After the date, they were walking back to cars, but his wasn't there. They searched for about 2 hours for many blocks around, but it was not to be found. So i went into Dupont to get him, and we drove around a bit more, still no car.
He tried to report it stolen to the Metropolitan Police of the District of Columbia (MPDC), but their systems were down, and could not confirm that it wasn't towed. Seeing as no other car on that block was towed, it seems unlikely at best.
