Medical Update

I went for my follow-up STD panel, including HIV, last week. Negative, except for Syphillis. This summer's injections were not enough to get rid of it. So on 1 Dec, back to Dr. Sall at Infectious Disease Specialists of Virginia to see how many more Bicillin L-A injections i will need. Sigh. It does explain the tiredness and continued chronic sinus/upper resp illness though. Upside, i'm non-contagious.

Oh, no. I am so sorry - but I am glad that you do have an explanation of why you have been feeling so ill lately. Why are they making you wait so long for more medication?

My doc's out of the office next week, and 08:30 on the 1st was next available appointment. So i'll get 1st injection that day, and will have, i'm guessing, 6-8 weeks of injections, on Friday AMs after that.

I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment last time too, and Dr. Sall said this was not a problem.
