Green Fractal Food

Fractal cabbagey-thing. I will be seeking this at my favourite odd-produce stores. Thank you leiacat for pointing it out. Have any of you come across this?

That may be the coolest vegetable I have ever seen... wow. Nope, never seen one in a grocery store -- I'd love to see one in person! And bring it to a math club meeting at university with some dip... heh :)

It does seem to be the same thing as brocciflower. IIRC, it tastes like cauliflower, but looks more interesting.

See this page (http://www.foodsubs.com/Vegiesinflor.html), which has broccoflower, broccoli, and romanesco in line. Broccoflower came about in the laste 25 years, due to crossing cabbage and broccoli, and is shaped, and tastes, like cauliflower, but is green.

I've grown them from seed! The big advantage is you can't really see the aphids.
