I found it!

THIS is the Titanic game i've told several of you about. The colours on ours were darker, but it's the same game.
The site's in Dutch, but i've not found the game anywhere else. It was a lot of fun; we played it all the time growing up.
My father had a fascination with the Titanic, which i'm sure is why we had it; he gave me a copy of Walter Lord's A Night to Remember when i was 10. I read it, several times over the years, but still enjoyed the game.
EDIT: I found a reference to it at BoardGameGeek.com. In English this time. I'll have to look for it when i'm at my mom's again. It may be among the games that are too much for my 6-yr-old nephew.

fetishfascination, too. I guess it's the usual human fascination with disaster + the safety of knowing it's a situation I'll *never* be in. My boss has a teacup from the Andrea Doria; I was so jealous when she showed me that! :).no subject
