Job Update
Aug. 16th, 2005 12:00 pmHuh. The DoD thing is different that what they told me in the interview. They're going to have me doing User Acceptance Testing and Documentation of the new software system instead of direct help desk. This makes this position much more appealing.
Oddly, due to the high price of gas it is cheaper to take a $3 each way bus and a $1.80 each way metro ride to work as opposed to driving. I never would've thought it'd be possible for Metro to be cheaper. But there it is. As of tomorrow, i will be taking the Fairfax Connector 989 from Reston to Pentagon City, and then the yellow line to Eisenhower Ave, which is conveniently next to the building.
