Summer Solstice 2005

This coming Sunday, 26 June, i'm helping lead a Summer Solstice Service/Ritual at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring. It's 3 blocks north of the DC Beltway on New Hampshire Avenue, on the right.

Easy access from MD 193, MD 410, US 29, Cherry Hill Road, Powder Mill Road, and Randolph Road if you're highway adverse. A mere 2.5 block walk from the end of the RideOn route 20(or get off at the first stop after the beltway and avoid crossing NH), or 1.5 blocks from the 1st Metrobus stop after Powder Mill Road, Metrobus route K6 or C8.

It starts at 10:30 (yes, in the morning). Come on by if you can. Spiral dancing and surprise musical ending, all for just showing up!

I'm in Reston, so if you're in Western NoVA and want to come, i have room for 3 adults in my car, as i think Fred is going to attend. papertigers, if you want to come, i'd be happy to retrieve you from, and return you to, the vicinity of your abode. And if nosebeepbear were to be up to coming, that would be swell, too.
