lovecraftienne and i have acquaintance through multiple channels here on LJ, including, but not limited to, linguaphiles, james_nicoll, and if i recall, a couple others in my Southern ON crowd here. I do hope to someday having the honor of meeting here IRL.

In re "Why can't I just put this behind me?": I probably underestimate how tough people can be, but I think the general culture wildly overestimates how tough they ought to be.
