PSA: Inauguration Day Bridge Closings

The following bridges between VA and DC will be closed on Inauguration Day, Tuesday, 20 Jan 2009:

Chain Bridge
Key Bridge
Roosevelt Bridge
Memorial Bridge
14th St Bridges

Long and short of it, if you're in the DC area that day, esp in DC or VA, DO NOT DRIVE if you can help it.

Ok! That's useful information! Guess my front row seat will be the TV and a local bar.

I actually wanted to be in the crowd at the south lawn to see GW get on Marine One for the last time and shown the door out of DC.
