The best I can find so far is that "20 7" is "London (inner)" [btw: the time there is currently 17:50:11 (05:50:11 PM )]
I will edit this or reply again if I am able to find anything else out.
edit: Sorry, I can not find any [international] reverse number lookup tools. The only ones I can find work for the US only. I did find a number of sites what will allow you to look up numbers in the UK by name but not a reverse lookup.
Of course, I recognised the country code immediately, and the London are soon after. Sadly, it seems that I cannot tell you anything about the number that you don't already know.
Hm, tempting, though i'm guessing it was either a misdial or a scammer, seeing as i was expecting not a call from Britain. I know several people in London, some of whom read my LJ, and have access to my phone number, but if it were them, i'm guessing they'd email, seeing as my voice mail is full. When i go to upgrade the phones here shortly, i plan to ask them to zero out the vmail.
"Expecting not a call"? Now, "not expecting a call", I would understand, but "expecting not a call", vaguely implies that you were expecting something, but not a call. What did you suspect? The Spammish Repetition? And I couldn't resist using this icon.
