i really like your samhain poem. i do agree that it could use something more -- perhaps something a little more personal to each individual, or how these changes affect us....... for me, samhain is about the things you mentioned, but it is also about Letting Go and Saying Goodbye -- to friends and family who have passed on, to ideas and beleifs and people who no longer fit in our lives, as well as to summer . . . . . hugs, M
