Eenie beanie bops-a-deenie
Oooh-bah-bops-a-deenie
Education! Liberation!
I love you, Tutti-Frutti!

Down, down, Baby, down by the rollercoaster
Sweet, sweet Baby, no place to go
Shamrock! Shamrock! Shama-shama-shamrock!
Caught you with your boyfriend, naughty, naughty!
Don't do the dishes, lazy, lazy!
Jump out the window, crazy, crazy!

Eenie beanie bops-a-deenie
Oooh bah bops-a-deenie
Education! Liberation!
I love you, Tutti-Frutti!

Today, [livejournal.com profile] benhill, [livejournal.com profile] blackfeather, Hugh from [livejournal.com profile] benhill's and my office, and i went hiking out at Sky Meadows. A wonderful time was had by all, though [livejournal.com profile] blackfeather's knees were really bothering him about mid-way through our 12 or so mile hike. Coming down that last bit was very hard for him. Après hike, we went to Amphora in Vienna, where much protein, salt, and carbs were had by all.

It was a fabulous day in the mountains around Paris, VA. Wonderful temperature, nice, pleasantly warm wind, and just a wee bit of spritzy rain in our now nearly officialy drought-stricken region. The park's dry enough they have a fire ban in effect. I'm planning on heading out there again on 22 April if you're interested in joining me.

Cinderella, dressed in yella,
went upstairs to kiss a fella.
Made a mistake and kissed a snake.
How many doctors did it take?

I remember hearing that one on the play ground growing up... but the last 2lines I think were a little different. And I recall that one being more of a hand clapping game, like Miss Mary Mac. *grins*
But yes, I recognised all of them...even if I learned them a little different.

Yes, the first one was a hand clapping game, as was Miss Marry Mac, Mac Mac, all dressed in black, black, black... though we only did the hand clapping ones at the bus stop in the morning. Or on the bus on the way home once in high school.

Oh, and i was curious of you recall how Eenie beanie bops-a-deenie differed when/where you learned it? I learned it in Dale City, VA in the mid-1970's.
