Babies and the weekend

dcseainMy sister birthed Gavin Michael Quigley at 9:18 PM EST on Sunday 19 March 2006. Gavin arrived at 20.5 inches, and 9 lbs. 4 oz. Both mother and child are doing well, though mom's a bit sore still from the delivery.
I got the news (my mother actually called me!) while on 895 in Baltimore on my way home from Lunacon. I had a lot of fun at the con. I met![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dr_pretentious, among others, at an LJ/Blogging Meet and Greet on Friday evening. It was much fun, and meeting interesting people is always a pleasure. I bought 2 games: Killer Bunnies and the expansions, cause i wanted my own copy so i can introduce it to The ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
nookery, and Tahuatínsuyu: The Rise of the Inca Empire. The goal is to be the dominant ruler, i.e. have the most victory points, by the time Pizarro arrives. I look forward to trying it out. I think i'll bring it to chez_turtle this week.
I may go to Wordlcon withnancylebov. I'll think about that, and likely discuss it at length while at I-CON. Well, i must be at the courthouse at 08:15 EST, which is a bit more than 7 hours from now, for jury duty in the AM. So i needs must off to bed. Cheers!
