I had the interview at G&D Americas today. It went well. M, the hiring supervisor told me that i am 'grossly overqualified' for the position, and is passing my resume to another manager who is hiring trainers for their field engineers. I'm still in the running for the job i interviewed for, as it's a good in into the company, tho M said she'd let me go for the training job if the other manager is interested.
I enjoyed the interview process. I Had a brief chat with H, the hiring manager, and a longer one with M, the hiring supervisor - i'm not certain that i've their titles correct, but i think the relationship is correct. It was the first time i'd been interviewed in Spanish. I've interviewed people in that language before, so i knew the vocabulary, but it was different from the other side.
