Well, as the above commenter said, we were a small group of people who were a constant among the swirling scores of military families moving through. We were very lucky in that we were there, and that we all got along well enough to stay in touch all these years.
Woodbridge, Lake Ridge, and Dale City are all Woodbridge according to USPS. For my HS, Montclair and Dale City were one bus, and Lake Ridge, Woodbridge, Dumfries and Triangle were on another. We on our bus mostly did not get on well with the people on the other bus. Not that we hated each other, but we had surprisingly little in common.
When i was coming up, we had to go into Woodbridge for shopping other than groceries and like. I have friends who grew up in Woodbridge proper, and we have everything in common today, and really, it's one big place in Eastern Prince William, regardless what the formal and/or postal names are.
