What a Wonderful Day!

Today, i:

1. Had lunch at Buca's in Gaithersburg with nosebeepbear
2. Went to my mother's house and spent some time with the dog and two cats, and let the dog out to do her business, all while chatting with nancylebov
3. Then went to my sister's, where we celebrated the 1st birthday, two days late, of Gavin, my younger nephew
4. On the way home, got a call from my sister informing me that our grandad, our father's father, is getting married on 28 April to Bea, his companion since Marie, his 2nd wife, died a few months after my father did.

So, looks like i'm heading to Cleveland at the end of April for a wedding. :D Only downside to all of that is that i'll have to see Uncle Phil and his daughter Elizabeth, but ah, well, the price of family.

Depending on the weekend and what is going on in my life at the time... if you want a traveling companion to Cleveland I might be able to go. I have a lot of family up there that I haven't seen in a very long time.

You'd end up travelling with me, my sister, and her sons, aged 7 and 1. If that's not a deal breaker, we're planning to leave mid-morning on Friday the 27th, leaving Cleveland Noonish on Sunday the 29th.

We don't know where we're staying yet, hopefully in Solon with our uncle and aunt, maybe at a hotel. Granddad lives at W 80th and Lorain, but don't know yet where the wedding will be.

Traveling with the rest of your family isn't a problem. I had to deal with a less than 1 year old before. They sleep most of the way up.

My family is mostly in University Hgts and South Euclid with a few in Beachwood.

Yeah, you did! You were my reason for getting out of bed yesterday. And, it was exciting to see you at a time i don't usually get to do so.
