Wireless Router with Comcast Help

We're trying to set up a wireless router with our Comcast IP service. Thus far, we have been unsuccessful. We've tried entering the info the DHCP gave us into the router, but cannot connect through it, neither by wire nor by wireless. Any of you got any suggestions? Thanks!


EDIT: Thanks to sungo, i checked the modem doc, and found that the modem requires a crossover cable for connecting to a router. So a-shopping we will go! Further update once that option is given a go.
