The Weekend

Friday, i rode with [livejournal.com profile] nosebeepbear and Marc up to [livejournal.com profile] dhs's housecooling. We arrived Friday, and [livejournal.com profile] persis cooked for us, the aforementioned, plus [livejournal.com profile] whc, [livejournal.com profile] dmk and [livejournal.com profile] aliza250, a very nice dinner, as well as some lovely oatmeal on Saturday morning.

Saturday, in addition to the people above, i got to see [livejournal.com profile] nancylebov, [livejournal.com profile] netpositive - whom it was a pleasure to meet, [livejournal.com profile] scarlettj9, [livejournal.com profile] suecochran, [livejournal.com profile] stevenjoel, [livejournal.com profile] museinred, [livejournal.com profile] lionessprite, T, who is the sister of [livejournal.com profile] selki, and a bunch of other cool people.

We headed back to DC on Sunday morning. [livejournal.com profile] dhs made eggs for all of us who had crashed. :) After we ate, [livejournal.com profile] nosebeepbear drove us to my church, where i had to be not later than 11 AM, as i'm teaching the Middle Schoolers this term. I'm really proud of her, while riding with her this weekend, we crossed a railroad track, the Francis Scott Key Memorial Bridge, and a small drawspan which appeared just as she was calming down from crossing the Key Bridge. Go [livejournal.com profile] nosebeepbear!

In summation, i had a rockin' weekend. :D

Glad to have met you. I don't often take to people on first meeting them. :)

The drawspan was nothing, but the signs just before it gave me a coronary. "Drawbridge? DRAWBRIDGE?! What does that MEAN?" *laughs*. I told you sometimes I can't hide it :).
