Busy, Busy, Social Weekend
Firday night, i belatedely joined ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
madbodger, fizzygeek, scruffycritter, and not_the_pope for dinner at a restaurant in Sterling. The restaurant was well hidden, as for some reason number 28-50 in the road it's on sits perpenidicular to number 10 on the same road. So the numbering was to the effect of 7, 10, 14, 20, then the 100 block, withe 28-50 being perpindicular to number 10. I took me as long to find number 50, the restaurant, once i go there, as i took me to get out there in the first place. Ah, well. I'll know for next time.
At any rate, after dinner,madbodger, fizzygeek and i went to see Snakes on a Plane. It was hilarious. And very silly. If snakes and/or flying don't squick you, it's worthwhile.
Saturday morning, I helpedhappypete and prettypammie move out of their apartment. I really wish i could have stayed longer. They certainly could have used the help.
I left the apartment and headed into town to pick up Jim, with whom i headed out to spend some time chezsharrainchains, where we played games with Egyptian and Roman themes, plus 1 round of Settlers. A most lovely time was had by all. After that, Jim and i had dinner with scruffycritter at Amphora in Vienna, where we all opted for breakfast.
Right now, i'm waiting for the washer to finish so i can throw stuff in the dryer, bathe and dress, then head over to hang for the afternoon withlionessprite, before heading off to a party for lonebear and his new bride,S. Toodles!
