As for the travel, I rather suspected as much, which is why I left when I did. fizzygeek wanted to know why I had left when it was still pouring, and I explained that I fully expected it to continue to do so for quite some time, so elected to leave before it was fully dark. My speed was all over the map, and I spent a lot of time dodging people who had enough clue to put on their flashers when they were going 30 on an interstate, but not enough clue to remain in the right hand lane.
