SAP stands for SAP (http://www.sap.com/usa/index.epx). It was something origanally Systemanalyse und Programmentwicklung, but now just SAP. People make careers specializing in a single SAP component. It's an enterprise software system that handles manufacturing, ordering, billing, and you-name-it.

ahh... well The company I work(ed) for decided to rehire me starting Monday - Horray! Different position - I'll be working for their sales team now.
