I do technical support, and have done so now in English, Spanish, and Portugese. I speake, understand, read and write the 1st two, only read, write, and comprehend the latter - my speaking is primitive still, but improving.

How completely unexpected. Six weeks severance will hopefully be enough to land a nice new position. Perhaps karma will return the favor in finding you a job as you've helped several others in that area.
